Yes, mungkin ini adalah short new post untuk oktasihotang weblog, maklum saudara-saudara, belakangan ini okta sihotang lagi ada kesibukan baru, seperti jadi tukang bakso keliling komplek, kadang merambah ke kuli bangunan (semua gak ada yg benar).
Nah, mumpung ada waktu sebentar dan mumpung ada koneksi internet, aku mencoba menghapus beberapa account oktasihotang di beberapa microblogging dan email. Yaitu :
- Akun oktasihotang di plurk
- Akun email oktasihotang di plasa.com
Yah…akunku di plurk.com sudah aku hapus, kenapa Ta ?? Ini sengaja aku hapus karna udah malas login di plurk, disamping sistemnya menggunakan full jquery/ajax sehingga saat membuka websitenya harus benar-benar memiliki internet high speed connection saat me-load page website plurk.com pertama kali, disamping itu juga, interface plurk ribet dan kurang friendly bagiku sehingga kadang dalam 1 bulan hanya 1-2 x login, selebihnya gak ada sehingga karma naik turun dan kebanyakan turunnya bila dibandingkan naiknya…

Well, akun email plasa ku juga aku hapus, kenapa ?, jelas karna plasa.com juga terkadang lambat dibuka, terkadang juga error, kemudian loading page-nya juga lambat dan masih menggunakan konvensional email application (1 email 1 baris), beda dengan email gmail dan yahoo yang mana sudah mengandalkan jquery/ajax technology.

Sekedar masukan untuk web developer plasa.com :
a. Sepertinya bandwidthnya harus digedein lagi untuk plasa.com (aksesnya jadi lama)
b. Untuk aplikasi emailnya, sepertinya harus mencoba pendekatan seperti aplikasi email di gmail dan yahoo biar makin mantap
Oke, sampai detik ini, 2 akun ku di dunia maya sudah aku hapus directly, dan berikut list akun oktasihotang yg masih exist di dunia maya :
1. Facebook
2. Twitter
3. dan beberapa di media online lain (kaskus, wordpress, dll)

Hands down, Apple’s app store wins by a mile. It’s a huge selection of all sorts of apps vs a rather sad selection of a handful for Zune. Microsoft has plans, especially in the realm of games, but I’m not sure I’d want to bet on the future if this aspect is important to you. The iPod is a much better choice in that case.
